Accelagen Staff Announcement: Kylie Lord

Accelagen is thrilled to officially welcome Kylie Lord as our company’s first CFO.

Our business continues to grow rapidly in Australia, and we are building our team to support that growth.

Kylie started with Accelagen in 2021 as a member of our advisory board, and the synergies were there from the get-go. Not only was the size and pace of growth at Accelagen a huge drawcard to Kylie; it is also an exciting time for the industry. Covid times have shone a light on the importance of clinical research and the positive impact that Accelagen’s work has on individual lives, a mission that Kylie was eager to be part of.

Kylie is a skilled leader in financial management with over 20 years’ global experience in financial services. Kylie, a member of the ICAA, began her career at EY working across external audits and has since spent 15+ years since working in London and Australia for major companies including BP, Alexander Forbes and Pacific Hydro. Kylie’s experience has been across everything from standard finance to corporate finance and strategy.

Whilst an accountant on paper, Kylie is ultimately a people person. As a business that places enormous value on people and making a positive contribution to the world, she slots right in with our team.

Kylie’s role is highly varied, with a dual focus on growing the financial foundations of our young business, as well as future strategy and supporting Accelagen to continue to achieve sustainable, long-term growth. Her multi-faceted experience is an invaluable asset and a crucial part of our foundation team.

Having lived through Melbourne’s long lockdowns, Kylie is happy to be back in the office part-time (by choice!) while retaining full flexibility which Accelagen encourages. Outside the office, her focus is on raising her children, and when time permits, she’s a big outdoor enthusiast. She loves hiking, camping, and staying active with runs and rides into work.

Welcome Kylie!
